Two asphalt rallies included in current season’s program

Australia, Corsica, Catalonia and Wales in Rovanperä’s 2003-calendar

Harri Rovanperä, who will drive a full world championship program in Peugeot works team in season 2004, is also going to participate in the asphalt events of Corsica and Catalonia during the rest of the rallying year 2003.

Australia, are happy that their next year’s contract has been made public
by now, which allows them to concentrate on the rest of this season’s
rallies without disturbance.

- Here in Australia we aim at giving the best performance we can, without
any specific strategies. Our goal is to do well and preferably to score
maximum points for our team, Rovanperä said. Last year in Australia he
guaranteed a double victory for Peugeot with Marcus Grönholm taking the
victory.

Risto Pietiläinen told that their program after Australia is going to include
at least the asphalt events in Corsica and Catalonia as well as the final
rally of the season in Wales.
- The Italian round of world championship next year will be competed on
gravel, so we maybe will skip Rallye San Remo this year, Pietiläinen
estimated.
