11 podium spots for Harri during 1999-2002

Before joining the Peugeot team, Harri made it to the podium twice in WR cars.

Standing on the podium after the 1999 Great Britain Rally were:
1. Richard Burns, Subaru,
2. Juha Kankkunen, Subaru,
3. Harri Rovanperä, Seat.

In the 2000 Finland WRC Rally, the top three were:
1. Marcus Grönholm, Peugeot,
2. Colin McRae, Ford,
3. Harri Rovanperä, Toyota.

Harri drove Peugeot to his first WRC championship in the Sweden Rally 2001, and he has made it to a WRC second six times with the Peugeot team. Four of those times, first place was taken by teammate Marcus Grönholm. The double wins were from the 2001 Great Britain Rally and the 2002 rallies in Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia.

Harri's other second places were both in the Safari Rally. In 2001, Tommi Mäkinen and Mitsubishi beat Harri, and in 2002, it was Colin MacRae and Ford.

Harri has driven Peugeot to third place twice in WRC rallies.

In the 2001 Acropolis Rally, the winners were:
1. Colin McRae, Ford,
2. Petter Solberg, Subaru,
3. Harri Rovanperä, Peugeot.

In the New Zealand Rally of the same year, top spots were taken by:
1. Richard Burns, Subaru,
2. Colin McRae, Ford.
3. Harri Rovanperä, Peugeot.
